To get this new website off the ground, our team came up with this creative idea to generate excitement and traffic and to build brand awareness. Early indications are it is very successful
The Challenge
Drive awareness to newly launched site from Charisma Media, a Christian multimedia company that has produced award-winning magazines, books, websites, apps, newsletters and other media since 1975.
The Solution
Through a partnership with Inspiration Cruises & Tours offering cruises to Alaska, Canada/New England, the Caribbean, Hawaii, the Mediterranean, Israel, Mexico and Norway, Charisma Media would offer to win a free cruise for two to a destination of the winners choice. The plan developed by Gabe Elliott would provide a chance to win through sign ups and reward a bonus prize as a reward for entries that drove referral sign ups. Gabe chose to use Offerpop as the giveaway management platform. The goal would be to acquire newsletter sign ups and Facebook likes as traffic drivers to the new site.

By offering an exciting prize and through targeted ads, social engagement sky rocketed across channels including Twitter and Facebook. Using the Offerpop social media management platform helped to track and drive the social media engagement. Newsletter sign ups and social followers all exceeded goal.
